The Strathcona County Transit Master Plan update is underway!
The What We Heard report, under Transit Master Plan (TMP) documents on the right, summarizes your feedback from the earlier phases of the project. The TMP includes recommendations for important route and service updates that may affect our transit riders.

The Transit Master Plan has been drafted based on feedback provided in earlier engagement phases. You can find the draft Transit Master Plan and proposed route and service changes in the document under Transit Master Plan on the right-hand side of this screen.

We are still collecting feedback on the draft Plan. You can now take the survey from September 4 - September 20. We encourage you to provide your feedback on the changes/improvements being proposed.

Why Now?
The update will guide the County’s transit operations into the next 10-20 years and build on the strengths of our current plan. The update will include analysis and planning for a post-pandemic era so we can adapt to the changing needs and priorities of our community.

Timing
Following this last round of engagement, the TMP will be revised and presented to Council for consideration by the end of Fall/Winter 2024. You can provide feedback on the draft TMP by:

  • Completing the survey available here, September 4 - 20, 2024
  • Attending one of two transit terminal pop-up events
  • Reaching out to the Project Team

Transit Terminal Pop-Up Events:

Pop-Up #1
Date: Tuesday September 10, 2024
Time: 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Location: Bethel Transit Terminal

Pop-Up #2

Next steps

Your input will be used by the project team to better understand your current transit needs and identify areas for change or improvement in the current Transit Master Plan.
