Are you a local business owner or operator?

Strathcona County is looking for feedback as we explore waste diversion in the commercial sector. Your input will be used to develop a waste diversion program for area businesses.

Were you aware that Industrial, Commercial and Institutional (ICI) waste makes up almost 50% of the waste stream in Strathcona County?

During engagement for Strathcona County’s Waste Management Roadmap, the County heard from businesses that they have different waste management needs that come with different challenges. Participating businesses will have the chance to influence the development of future diversion strategies, incentives and regulatory requirements for the commercial sector.
