Community involvement

By collaborating with the community on priorities and planning, RCMP and Enforcement Services is better able to support community safety, resiliency and overall well-being while reducing crime and other harmful social impacts.

RCMP and Enforcement Services work together to ensure Strathcona County is a safe community to live, work and play. They are integrated in the overall responsibility for public safety, law enforcement, evidence gathering, support for victims of crime, traffic enforcement, and education and public awareness through community policing.

Together, they are committed to preserving the peace, upholding the law and providing quality service in partnership with the community.

Survey open from January 13 - February 2

  • Strathcona County’s RCMP and Enforcement Services are committed to preserving the peace, upholding the law and ensuring community safety and well-being in partnership with the community.

    The purpose of this survey is to ensure the public has a say in policing priorities in Strathcona County. Information collected will be reviewed and considered by the RCMP and Enforcement Services in the development of their policing and enforcement priorities in fiscal year 2025-2026. Results of this survey will be made publicly available on County Voice within 60 days of the survey’s close date.

    The survey will take 3-5 minutes to complete. The survey is available until February 2, 2025.



    Personal information is collected in accordance with section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and will be used in the management and administration of Strathcona County RCMP and Enforcement Services process improvement initiatives. Aggregate survey results will be shared with the RCMP.
