The results are in - survey respondents gave Strathcona County top marks!
An impressive 91 per cent of respondents rated the County as a good or very good place to live overall, and 92 per cent feel the County is a great place to raise kids.
“Citizen satisfaction is one of the three key metrics to measure our success – and I’m thrilled to see residents love living here and that there are strong levels of satisfaction for both County services and infrastructure,” says Mayor Rod Frank. “The feedback we receive annually is integral to understanding where we excel in service delivery, and where we need to focus our attention on improvements. We have been diligent about spending responsibly while maintaining high service levels, delivered by staff who are passionate and care about our residents.”
Thepublic satisfactionsurvey was conducted at the beginning of 2025 through telephone market research and the online public engagement platform County Voice. Strathcona County received a total of 1,346 responses; more than double what other comparable municipalities receive.
Strathcona County conducts an annual public satisfaction survey that provides residents the opportunity to share their feedback relating to County programs and services. The survey results help the County evaluate its services, and supports decision making and plans for the best use of resources.
